Policy

Ordering

Please place all orders via the online ordering system (see below). Multiple orders for the same day meeting must be ordered separately by meal period delivery times. For example, if you have an all-day event consisting of different delivery times (breakfast, snack, lunch, afternoon snack), please place a separate order for each delivery (breakfast,snack,lunch,afternoon snack). Delivery time should be set half-hour prior to the start of the event to allow for any operational discrepancies. The food will be delivered and set up within that half-hour time frame. If you have questions regarding placing an order, please contact our dining services department.

Events with 75-100 attendees require a final head count and menu one week prior to the event. Events with more than 100 attendees require at least one meeting to review the menu and budget with the dinning services director and chef two weeks prior to the event.

Rental and Linen Services

Service is available upon request. Please contact dining services department for pricing and availability on all rental services.

Equipment

Any Flik equipment delivered outside of the building becomes the responsibility of the client, until the designated pick-up time. Should the event end early or run late, please inform our dining service department so that we can plan equipment pick-up time accordingly. Please ensure that event rooms are unlocked during pick-up time, otherwise the return of the equipment will be your responsibility.

Attendants

Attendants are required for buffet style large events over 50 ppl. Please reach out to the dining service department for pricing and availability on all staffing services.

Handling Food

Food not consumed at the event should not leave the designated service areas due to building and local health and sanitation compliancy and regulations. This policy is in effect for the safety of our guests.

Substitutions

Flik reserves the right to make substitutions due to circumstances beyond our control. All substitutions will be of comparable quality. We will make every attempt to inform you of any changes made to menu prior to the event.

Cancellation Policy

Any event over 25 guests requires a 48-hour advance notice for cancellation without penalty, with the exception of any special orders or rental that incur expenses. If less than 48-hour is given, any non-recoverable expenses, including but not limited to contracted labor, special orders, rentals and/or non-recoverable food costs, will be charged up to 100% of value of the event. Events under 25 guests, 48-hour notice of cancellation without penalty, excluding any special orders.

Delivery/Pick-Up

Events over $25 will be delivered by Flik. Events, less than $25 will be available for pick up at the café on or before the requested delivery time.

Billing and Payment

Credit card or billable information must be provided to place any order. All events are subject to Flik cancellation policy. Price quotes do not include state meal tax or sales tax.
